Inner Axis Method

The essence of the method

A presence-based system of self-awareness

The Inner Axis Method regards body, emotions and consciousness as different expressions of one whole. It supports inner stability, authenticity and conscious action through a practical, lived approach.

Four pillars

The inner axis is not a mood, but an organising principle

The body is not an obstacle, but a precise signalling system.

Soul

The deeper layers of experience become readable through calm attention.

Consciousness

Clear recognition reveals what is happening within you.

Presence

The inner space where body, soul and consciousness reconnect.

Process

How does the Inner Axis process unfold?

1. Arriving — returning to the present

We begin by bringing attention back to where we actually are: the body and the present moment. Instead of immediately analysing or correcting ourselves, we first perceive what is here.

2. Perception — recognising what happens within us

Body, emotions and consciousness constantly convey information. We learn to distinguish present reality from reactions added by earlier experiences and recurring patterns.

3. The inner axis — our own point of reference

The inner axis is not permanent calm. It is an organising principle: an inner centre from which we can perceive ourselves and the world without confusing the two.

4. Reordering — returning to our centre

When we recognise what is happening, body, emotions and consciousness can align again. This is where automatic reaction gives way to conscious response.

5. The aim is not never to lose balance

Life is movement, and we naturally lose balance at times. Practice helps us notice this sooner and know how to return without waiting for the outside world to change first.

Not a single technique or one-off release

A conscious process

Not a single technique or one-off release

Change is not something another person performs on us. It requires our attention, participation and time. BTM offers a supported process in which recognition becomes experience and experience becomes increasingly stable inner functioning.
