Introduction

A space for returning to inner balance

For me, Lumen Garden is more than a professional platform. It is the natural continuation of a long journey and a synthesis of what I have learned over the past decades about human functioning, inner stability, awareness and presence.

For nearly thirty years I have studied and worked with systems of self-awareness, energy and consciousness. Over time it became increasingly clear that no technique can replace our ability to recognise what is happening within us and return to our own inner centre.

I have always been interested in what lies behind the phenomena.

Why do we react in the same way again and again in certain situations?

What does the body signal before conscious thought notices a change?

What happens when we lose our inner point of reference?

And how can we find our way back?

The Inner Axis Method was born from these questions and from many years of observation, experience and practical work.

The story of the method

The birth of the Inner Axis Method

BTM is not an adaptation of any single earlier system. It gradually emerged from the recognition that the different levels of human functioning should not be examined in isolation.

The body signals. Emotions create movement. Thoughts interpret. Consciousness can observe all of this.

When the connection between them is lost, we easily lose our inner centre of gravity. Often it is not the external situation itself that is strongest, but what it sets in motion within us.

For me, the Inner Axis is therefore not a perfect state to be maintained forever, but a point of reference: an inner place from which we can perceive what is happening without every external influence automatically determining our next reaction.

The aim is not never to lose balance, but to recognise when it happens and know how to return.

Approach

My perspective

I do not believe in perfection or in maintaining an idealised state at all times. Life changes, and we change within it.

True inner stability is not rigidity or invulnerability. It is the ability to remain connected to ourselves while change is taking place.

Presence is not an abstract idea to me. Presence is a practice: noticing our reactions, listening to the body, recognising recurring patterns and distinguishing what is actually happening from what past experience adds to the present.

The more clearly we perceive, the less automatically we need to react. Choice becomes possible—and this is where inner freedom begins.

Books

The path to writing

Writing is not separate from this journey. For a long time I shared what I had understood mainly through personal work, teaching and practice. Eventually it became clear that some insights and connections also belonged in books.

Writing slows thought down and makes it more precise. Connections become visible that previously seemed like separate experiences.

A book is therefore not merely a means of conveying information, but a meeting space between the reader and an idea. I do not wish to give ready-made answers, but points of recognition where readers can pause and ask their own questions.

A book truly comes alive when readers not only understand the author’s words, but also recognise something within themselves.

A shared space

Lumen Garden

Lumen Garden brings together the Inner Axis Method, the courses, the books, creative work with flowers and forms, and the perspective behind them all.

At first these may seem like different fields. To me, however, they all lead to the same place: recognising inner order and expressing it in life.

I do not want to tell others how to live or offer finished truths. I want to share what I have learned over the decades: how to pay attention, distinguish reaction from conscious response, recognise when we have lost our centre, and remember that there is always a path back—to ourselves.

01

Path

Decades of learning, experience and practical work led me to see that lasting change does not begin outside us. Understanding bodily signals, emotional reactions and patterns of consciousness helps us find our inner point of reference.

02

Method

The Inner Axis Method gives practical structure to this experience. It teaches us to notice imbalance, reorganise our inner functioning and return to our own centre.

03

Sharing

The books, courses and different areas of Lumen Garden serve one purpose: that knowledge should become recognition and lived experience that can be used in everyday life.

“What matters most is not that we never lose balance, but that we know where to return.”
